General Information

The Prescott Computer Society has a current membership of about 60. Our members generally live in Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona as well as the surrounding areas of Yavapai County.

Benefits of Membership

Attendance at our meetings
We hold about two meetings each month on a variety of different computer topics according to the schedule on our Home page.

Access to the Members Only section of the website
This area contains recent back issues of the PCS email newsletter, PCS membership list and the Meeting Notes and Meeting Videos databases. You will be able to download meeting handouts, the presenter's notes in PDF format, computer-related articles written by PCS members and view videos of most meetings.

Email newsletter
This newsletter, sent out bi-weekly Monday morning, contains security warnings, computer Tips 'n' Tricks, schedule changes and other club news items.

Dues

Dues are only $24 per year per household and are used for the purchase of computer equipment and other necessary expenses. Over the years the PCS Board of Directors has tried to be as frugal as possible. We have encouraged ourselves as well as our members to use free software. In 2010 the Board set the annual dues at $24 - a level which has continued since then.
